From the outset the family focused on providing the best hand stretched pizzas outside of Naples.
This Italian family run business has now been run by three generations commencing with Fiorangelo. He and his wife Ida (Mamma) were the driving force that successfully established Santaniello's as Bedford's Number one pizza restaurant.
Geraldo, continued in their footsteps and has become famous for his genuine hospitality and warmth. He is well regarded by all his customers and in fact by all that know him. He is a natural host and contributes to the fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant.
In recent years the younger Fiorangelo has emerged as the key man at Santaniello's. He has all the ambition and passion as his grandparents with the charisma and good nature of his father. The third generation is in good hands with Fiorangelo and long may he continue to provide excellent service, hospitality and good food in which Pizzeria Santaniello has excelled.
For the last thirty years one special chef Antonio Cientanni has made some of the most delicious pizzas on the planet. His fame has spread far and wide including numerous television appearances in which he showed that his pizza making skills were so much better than his acting. Antonio is a truly professional chef who is very proud of his cooking. He has developed a rapport and affection with his customers who come to watch him spin the pizzas and enjoy his food.
The ingredients that have made Pizzeria Santaniello so successful are all set out above. Namely, the superb well presented restaurant set in a lovely area of town. A close knit family all working together to ensure that only the very best food is served.
